Description:
This butterfly is less common than the Swallowtail. He lives mainly in the more southern parts of Europe.
Compared with the Swallowtail, his tails are longer and the
transverse lines on the upperwings are less conspicuous. Both sides of his wings are
marked with large black bands.
Flight period:
One or two broods from April to August.
Larval host plants:
Mainly Prunus species.
