Natalia
Dobrzańska tells about herself:
I
was born in 1981 in Warsaw. Although I live in the city, (I’m a student
at Warsaw University) I spend most of my free time in the
Mazury Lake District, a beautiful
region in the north-east of Poland. I’ve always admired its flora and
fauna and that’s how my interest in nature developed.
A few years ago I took up photography and photographing
nature has become a great hobby of mine. But it was only 3 years ago that
butterflies became my favourite subject. For 2 years I’ve been taking
part in a project of monitoring Polish butterflies.
My photos present butterflies both in the wild and in
gardens. (I use a macro-lens Tamron 90mm F/2.8) I also collect information
about plants that attract butterflies and I’d like to create a butterfly
garden. |
